ABOUT

Wardziukiewicz [Piotr Wardziukiewicz]

Polish type designer who released Sydonia Atramentiqua in 2019. The inspiration came from the first releases of "Malleus Maleficarum" and the Caslon typeface. The first version of Sydonia Atramentiqua was created in 2018 for the purposes of the exhibition at the National Museum in Szczecin. The project's supervisors were Waldemar Wojciechowski and Patrycja Makarewicz. Named after a local witch, Sydonia von Borck, the typeface spills ink around its outlines.
