Katie Mancher During her studies at Maryland Institute College of Art, Katie Mancher (Baltimore, MD) designed the warm text typeface Walden (2019). Inspired by Henry David Thoreau's book Walden, this typeface was designed for screen reading in order to inject an organic quality. In 2017 she designed the experimental typeface Another World on Earth.
