Allard Pierson
Museum in Amsterdam that houses collections of the University of Amsterdam. It is headed by Mathieu Lommen. One part of the museum deals with designa and typography. It contains, e.g., a series of works given to the university by Lettergieterij Amsterdam, voorheen N. Tetterode, in 1971, and houses the archivers of S.H. de Roos, Dick Elffers, Atie Siegenbeek van Heukelom, Jurriaan Schrofer, Jan van Toorn, Gerard Unger and Irma Boom. |
