Louis Ferrand
French type designer at FT Française who made the simple linear script font Clipper (1951). He is also credited at Identifont with a version of Civilité (1922; later digitized in 1994 at Monotype by George Thomas as Civilite MJ, and by Tim Ryan, also in 1994, as Civilité TR). Revivals of his work include the free font LF Clipped (2016, Pilaster Davy). |
