Shareware Windows font manager developed by Steven Fox, copyright Leaping Lizards. FontMonster permits editing of names and metrics. Opinion offered by "Character" on abf: "3.5 is the final version. It's a dog. (American slang for very bad) Every time you use it, it takes over the association for .ttf and .pfb and you can no longer use fontview or atm to view fonts." Alan Sargent claims: "FontMonster isn't supported any more, but you can "register" it to remove the nags using name: Steve Hsu ID:11483 or name: BETA TESTER ID: 16983". He continues: "It's the ONLY free kerning editor for both TT and T1 that I'm aware of (as well as other useful functions). It's unsupported shareware (the author disappeared long ago)."
