George Ostrochulski Letter designer at Mergenthaler from the mid-1930s and head of the letter design department from the mid-1950s until his death in 1971. He worked on and produced Caslon Old Face in the 1950s, a faithful revival of William Caslon I's classic face. The lowercase is Moxon's 1669 Great Canon.
