Tony Forster British designer (d. 2008) at Letraset of the calligraphic nuptial style typeface Tiranti Solid (1993-1995). He also made Willow (1990, Letraset, a font based on lettering of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, now offered by both ITC and Linotype). Quoting from Timothy Donaldson's announcement of his death: He was well-known for his commercial lettering and type-design, which he continued to practice until the last. He also influenced many through the mid-period of his career, when he was a lecturer at Bolton College of Art (now a part of the university). Possibly the most well-known amongst the influenced was Phill Grimshaw. FontShop link.
