Cowan Design Associates [Gene Cowan] In the early nineties, Gene Cowan at Cowan Design Associates created some interesting fonts, such as the "Simpson's" font Groening based on the handwriting of Matt Groening, as well as CableDingbats, Crillee, and Krupper. Akbar (1996-2000) is a later adaptation by Jon Bernhardt of Groening (1991). He is also credited with Cable Dingbats. No fonts on Gene's web page, but Google will locate them for you.
