Walter Wege German cartographer (b. Berlin, 1894, d. 1972, Berlin) who worked at AEG (Berlin) in the 1920s and then at Adrema Maschinenbaugesellschaft (Berlin) until 1937. He was an independent designer from 1937 onwards. At Berthold AG he designed these typefaces: The comic book / signage style typeface Script Signal (1932). Signal (1931) and its bold version, Block Signal (1932). Deutsch-Signal (1934). A German school script. Klingspor link.
