ABOUT

Tony Geddes

Tony Geddes was the co-chair with Dave Farey of Panache in London. He designed Flamenco Inline (Letraset and ITC, 1979; a digital revival by SoftMaker in 2015 is called Fuego) and Spotlight (Letraset and ITC, 1989). In 1968, he created the avant-garde typeface Capone and Musketeer (AG; for equivalent digital fonts, see Milton (Mecanorma), Melbourne (TypeShop), and Melbourne Serial (Softmaker)). He also made an athletic lettering typeface which was at the basis of Sis Boom Bah NF (2007, Nick Curtis).
