Eragny Press [Lucien Pissarro] Private press of Lucien Pissarro, a French type designer, 1863-1944. Pissarro created Brook Type in 1903 for Eragny Press. Brook Type influenced a 1976 design by Adrian Williams, and that in turn led to Steve Jackaman's digital typeface Gargoyle.
