John H. Bowman Programme Director for Library and Information Studies at University College, London. At the meeting in Thessaloniki in June 2002, he spoke about The fine printing of Greek in Britain and its types. Author of Greek printing types in Britain, from the late eighteenth to the early twentieth century (Thessaloniki : Typophilia, 1998). That book is based on the author's thesis completed in 1988 for the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at the University of Reading, England.
