ABOUT

Textism: Janson

Designed by Hermann Zapf, based on Nicholas Kis (1954). Textism gives Janson Text a B-: Another of the great book typefaces, based on late-17th century type designed by the Hungarian printer Nicholas Kis. The version available for computer layout is better than some digital translations, but it lacks the strength required for a truly realized page.
