ETH Schrift
The official fonts for ETH in Zürich, free for you to download. The ETH Light family comes in all formats (truetype, type 1). The truetype fonts have a copyright line that says that they were made by Linotype (1999), but the type 1 fonts have a copyright notice to Luc(as) DeGroot in FontFabrik (1999). In any case, the sans serif fonts have an open feel, characterized by a Q with an disconnected tail, and a lightbulb dingbat. These features are also present in DeGroot's TheSans.
