"The Mesa Polyglot alphabet was invented by Juan Mesa (b. 1928), a Cuban-American living in Miami. It was designed as an easy-to-learn and simple-to-use alternative international alphabet." A Mesa font by Nicholas Fabian is included. See also here for MesaAnalogMedium (2001).
