Beirut, Lebanon-based designer of the Arabic typeface Midan (2005), which won an award at TDC2 2007. Linotype: Midan is a modern Arabic typeface based on simplified Naskh with a slightly modulated stroke treatment. It is suited for text settings, especially in brochures and magazines.. In 2015, he designed the Arabic typeface Mohtaraf at Al Mohtaraf Foundry, which won an award in the TDC 2015 Type Design competition.
