Artist who probably comes from Thurgau, and who lived roughly from 1485-1546. Creator of an alphabet (now known as Flötner's Menschenalphabet) in 1534 that shows each letter made up with human figures. Picture. Another picture. Another picture. Another picture. One of his alphabets was scanned and fonted by "Character" and posted on abf on November 25, 2002: called Flotner, it can be found here.
