Paul Stiff
Reader at the Department of Typography&Graphic Communication of the University of Reading (since 1980). Born in 1949, he died on March 8, 2011 [obituary by Sue Walker]. Editor in 1996, 1997 and 2002 of Typography Papers. At ATypI 2004 in Prague, he spoke about East-European emigres in Britain who had an impact on professional typography there. At ATypI 2006 in Lisbon, he spoke about typographic support for wayfinding. Speaker at ATypI 2010 in Dublin. |
