Buffalo-based foundry, also called Nathan Lyman&Co., N. Lyman's Sons, W.E. Lyman&Son. In 1893 the Buffalo Type Foundry joined the American Type Founders consortium, and became one of its strongest supporters. They published this specimen book: Buffalo Type Foundry, American Type Founders' Company, Specimen Book and Price List (350 pages, 1897).
