Lewis Pelouze [Lewis Pelouze]

Philadelphia-based foundry, also called Philadelphia Type Foundry, Lewis Pelouze&Son, and Louis Pelouze&Co. It was founded by Lewis Pelouze (b. 1807), after he had worked for some time at the Ronaldson Type Foundry in Philadelphia (ca. 1834). Lewis Pelouze was sold to ATF in 1892.
