Oriya font link and jump page by Omniglot. Oriya is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 22 million people in the Indian state of Orissa. This syllabic alphabet developed from the Kalinga script, one of the many descendents of the Brahmi script of ancient India. The earliest known inscription in Kalinga dates from 1051.
