An ordered listing of the four main international type meetings.

  • ATypI: The most important meeting in the world today, held annually since 1957.
  • TypeCon [SOTA]: Held annually since 2000 in North America, this meeting is by its very nature more North American.
  • Conference of the Friends of St. Bride: Annual meeting at the St Bride Library in London since 2002. Smaller than the previous two.
  • Rencontres Internationales de Lure: Annual meeting in the South of France since the 1950s. Despite its name, it appeals mainly to francophone typographers.
