Mona Font

Mona Font (2002-2003) is a free Japanese font family for text arts, as part of a project by The Electronic Font Open Laboratory (also called efont). It is based on Shinonome&Kochi-Subst, and is in the public domain. Included are Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, kana and kanji. Historical note: the Shinonome font was originally developed by Yasuyuki Furukawa. Alternate URL where, as of 2006, the fonts are IPAMonaGothic, IPAMonaPGothic, IPAMonaUIGothic, IPAMonaMincho, IPAMonaPMincho, with copyright to IPA, or the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan. The readme file was written by Jun Kobayashi and thanks Wada Laboratory, the University of Tokyo and the Electronic Font Open Laboratory.
