Ahmed Mirza Jamil

Pakistani calligrapher who developed the calligraphic Urdu script Noori Nastaliq in the 1970s. It was sold by (Agfa) Monotype but since 2009, copyright and trademark of the font has returned to Tariq Jamil Mirza / Ahmed Mirza Jamil. He has been awarded with TAMGHA-I-IMTIAZ by the government of Pakistan in 1982.
