Changzhou SinoType Technology Co

Chinese foundry in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China. As one of the major foundries there, it made fonts such as Heiti (2002), which can be downloaded here. Its fonts start with the letters ST. No retail font sales, but the fonts are worked into many packages such as on Apple systems. STXingkai (1998) is here. STCaiyun, STXihei, STXingkai, STXinwei, STZhongsong, all made in 1998, are here. This site carries their free fonts STFangSong, STeiTi, STKaiTi and STXiHei with a date of 2003. Songti is on most Apple systems. Ping Hei is another popular Chinese font by them.

People involved in SinoType in 2012 include Howie Lan (in San Francisco), Juanyan Sun and Deyi Wei.
