Fré Cohen
Dutch graphic designer (1903-1943) who lived in Amsterdam. She often designed fonts for her own projects. One of her alphabets inspired Richard Keijzer to develop Mokum Cohen (2006)--it was based on the font used in the Annual Report of the Municipal Giro 1930. Her lettering was also the inspiration for Freco (2006, Canada Type). |
