Non-Latin Conference St Bride Library and the Department of Typography, University of Reading are collaborating on a two-day conference on non-Latin typeface design, held on September 18-19, 2007. Speakers include Graham Shaw (Head of Asia, Pacific and Africa Collections at the British Library), Mammoun Sakkal, Maxim Zhukov, and Victor Gaultney. Hands-on sessions at Reading will be conducted by Gerry Leonidas, Fiona Ross, Jo de Baerdemaeker, and Martin Dodds (Principal Examiner for Urdu, Cambridge International Exams).
