Type designer of the photolettering era (1960s) who created the chiseled 3d typeface Sculpture. Nick Curtis's Haut Relief (2007) is based on this typeface. The African-themed Djibouti of Nick Curtis (2007) is based on West's African Queen, also a 1960s font.
