ATypI organizes wonderful meetings---I have attended many and enjoyed great presentations. However, every year, the price tag gives me a pancreatic headache. Is there not something that can be done about it? Can we have transparency? What part of the income goes ino ATypI coffers? How much are invited speakers paid? Should they be paid at all? Can we get piecharts with income and expenses? What is the use of sponsors if fees are not reduced? Can we organize a meeting with fees around 100 dollars? [The answer is yes.]
