Michiel Schuurman

Michiel Schuurman (b. Amsterdam, 1974) studied graphic design and typography at the Koninklijke Academie voor de Beeldende Kunsten (KABK) Den Haag and graduated as graphic designer in 2002 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy Amsterdam. He specialized in typography, designs his own typefaces and likes working in black and white. His posters show great typographical originality. His typefaces include Oldskool (1998-2000), an outline face, and Ixopusada (1998).
