Francisco Calles Trejo
Francisco Calles studied graphic design at the UNAM, Mexico, and obtained a Master's Degrees in Visual Arts, Design Management and Design Processes. A frequent speaker at and organizer of type conferences, he publishes Tiypo magazine, and is the director of the National Typography Conference in Mexico and coordinator of the Mexico chapter of the Latin American Typography Biennial. He is a professor at several universities in Mexico, president of the Mexican Association of Graphic Design Schools, Encuadre, and coordinator of the Masters in Typesetter Design of the Centro de Estudios Gestalt (CEG) in Veracruz [Maestro en Diseño Tipográfico del Centro del Estudios Gestalt del puerto de Veracruz]. Speaker at ATypI 2009 in Mexico City. He lives in Veracruz. |
