Typeface Research Pty Ltd [Harry C. Pears] Australian Harry Pears (b. The Quirindi, Australia) is a veteran of the type world. He started his career as a colour camera operator and then as a phototypesetter. He started marketing digital typefaces in Australia, and has designed a few fonts himself. Creator in 2001 of the Celtic look family Lindisfarne Nova (with calligrapher Margaret Layson) at Bitstream (this includes Lindisfarne Nova Incised and Lindisfarne Runes). Harry is the owner of Typeface Research Pty. Ltd. of Lake Cathie, Australia.
