Swiss type designer, b. 1926, Neuheim. In 1968, he set up Odermatt & Tissi in Zurich together with Rosemarie Tissi. Creator of Antiqua Classica (1971, a high-contrast didone; Engler Text-Bild-Integration AG), and Marabu (1972, a counterless octagonal display face; Engler Text-Bild-Integration AG).
