Emanuela Conidi Conidi obtained an MA in typeface design from the University of Reading in 2008. Her graduation typeface is Nabil, a hookish serifed typeface that covers Latin and Arabic. It won a bronze medal at the 2009 EDAwards. Emanuela joined Fontsmith in 2008 after studying typeface design. With a background in Graphic Design, experience in hot-metal type hand composition and letterpress printing, she is passionate about typographic history, 19th century typefaces and Arabic typography. In 2009, Mitja Miklavcic, Jason Smith and Emanuela codesigned the slab serif family FS Rufus. She codesigned the legible sans family FS Me with Mitja Miklavic, Phil Garnham, Jason Smith and Fernando Mello (Fontsmith). Klingspor link.
