Sigurður Oddsson or Siggi Odds or Siggi Oddsson, was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, in 1985, but spent a large part of his childhood in Vancouver, Canada. He graduated from college (in science) in 2005 and graduated with a B.A. degree in graphic design from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in Reykjavík, Iceland in the spring of 2008. He is an illustrator and graphic designer. Typefaces created by him include Sniðagrind (2007, an experimental face inspired by Gateway, by designer Stephan Müller), Kögra (2006, a face based on fractals made at The Iceland Academy of the Arts), and Aryan Monkey (2007, a curly font done with Svein Daviðsson).
