English designer and painter, 1824-1866. Creator of a set of ornamental caps alphabet in 1864. In 2012, Jose Jimenez published Godfrey Sykes Initials, a tile alphabet that was inspired by the decorations of Godfrey Sykes, whose work was greatly influenced by that of Raphael and Michelangelo. |
