Kif Caliph Designer of the free Arabic typeface Scheherazade (2004-2007, OFL, SIL, and Google Web Fonts). Named after the heroine of the classic Arabian Nights tale, this Naskh typeface was designed in the style of traditional typefaces such as Monotype Naskh, extended to cover the full Unicode Arabic repertoire. Lateef (2004-2008, SIL; see also Google Web Fonts) is named after Shah Abdul Lateef Bhitai, the famous Sindhi mystic and poet. It is intended to be an appropriate style for use in Sindhi and other languages of the South Asian region. Google Web Fonts download page.
