Johann Kaspar Müller

German type cutter credited with Kleine Mittel Antiqua (before 1739). He was born in aschesleben in 1675 and died in 1717. He worked in Leipzig as a punchcutter and typefounder. In 1702, he acquired Johann Georg's printing works and type foundry. In 1702, he married Marie Sophie Hermann, who in 1719 married Bernhard Christoph Breitkopf, a famous typefounder in Leipzig. Several of his fonts can be found in Norstedt's collection in Stockholm.
