Jürgen Riebling
Designer and lettering artist in the 1970s. He published Mr. Big (1972, Berthold AG), a decorative font that saw several digital revivals:
His Media Serif (1976, H. Berthold AG) was digitally revived by Elsner and Flake---this is one of the typographic horrors of Western society, with clumsy serifs pointing the wrong way. at some point, Brendel Studio and Linotype were also offering versions of Media Serif. |
