The fifty best-selling typefaces at MyFonts, as reported by them on March 1, 2012. The strong grotesque and sans families are still selling very well. The geometric sans category is quite popular---Proxima Nova (Mark Simonson) is first, followed by Brandon Grotesque (HVD), while strong contenders Museo Sans (Jos Buivenga, 4th), Interstate (6th), News Gothic (8th), Futura (9th), PF Din Text Pro (12th), Geogrotesque (13th), Swiss 721 (14th), Benton Sans (16th), Akzidenz Grotesk BQ (27th), Code Pro (Svetoslav Simov, 28th), Akzidenz Grotesk BE (29th), Klavika (31st), Museo Sans Rounded (32nd), PF Square Sans Pro (38th), Acto (42nd), Zurich (43rd), Franklin Gothic (45th), Alright Sans (48th) and Eurostile (50th) close out the sans faces in the top 50.

The scripts are still quite present (11 out of 50, just as last month) but are in a slight decline in overall ranking---in this category, Carolyna Pro (Emily Lime) remains in the lead (in fifth overall, down from fourth).

In the text face category, Cassia (Dieter Hofrichter), 11th last month, disappeared from the charts, leaving only Mrs Eaves (in 46th) and a few slab typefaces. Fancy didone-inspired fashion mag faces continue unabated, with Reina (Lian Types, 19th), Hera Big (Lucas Sharp, 24th), Narziss (Hubert Jocham, 25th), and Guadalupe (Latinotype, 26th).

The grungy Anodyne of Yellow Design Studio surges to third, and another irregular face, Populaire, ends up in 11th, which proves that the demand for typefaces is quite varied.
