Vasyl Khomenko Ukrainian graphic artist (b. 1912, Tbilisi-d. 1984, Kiev) who created the Cyrillic font New Ukrainian from 1963 until 1970. Khomenkivska (by Henadij Zarechnuk and Viktor Kharyk) is based on Khomenko's typeface. Khomenko's type was used in 2007 by the weekly newspaper Prosto.
