Tiziana Alocci (Milan) created an interesting parametric font in 2012 called Trapezifont. She writes: Trapezifont is a parametric font created in FontLab through the programming language Python. The glyphs were not drawn in a traditional way, with the Bezier curves but writing the codes inside the edit macro of FontLab. Trapezifont works according to one variable included between 0 and 100 that can be set at will. Once set the script the font is re-drawn as to the variable given changing the value of the tapering of each glyph. She is pursuing a masters degree in Communication Design at the Politecnico of Milan.
