Noto A large free font family released under the Apache license at Google Web Fonts, and developed by Monotype's Steve Matteson and a team of type designers. Designed between 2012 and 2016, this typeface covers over 800 languages and 100 writing scripts. URL with details. Noto stands for no tofu, i.e., no white boxes that represent unknown characters. The fonts are property of Monotype, with the exception of Noto Khmer and Noto Lao, which belong to Danh Hong.
