Keitaro Sakamoto
A graduate of RISD, Keitaro works in marketing at Morisawa Inc in Japan, since 2008. Speaker at ATypI 2014 in Barcelona. Speaker at ATypI 2016 in Warsaw on Deep Neural Network in Typeface. In the latter talk, Keitaro Sakamoto and Tetsuo Sakomura show an experiment on the recognition of a Japanese character and its components by a deep neaural network. They investigate how a Latin typeface can be recognized or "learned". Speaker at ATypI 2018 in Antwerp. |
