ABOUT

Juan Bruce

During his MATD studies at the University of Reading in 2015, Juan Bruce designed Noort. The original inspiration for Noort came from cartographic maps of the 17th century. Juan has been massaging his typeface for editorial use, with a range of optical sizes to provide optimal performance for small text. It is characterized by a large x-height, long serifs, special terminals and a rough-style italic.
