Aiken, SC-based designer of the octagonal techno typeface Kuratas (2015), which takes inspiration from Kogoro Kurata and Wataru Yoshizaki's Curates robot, the world's first drivable mech. It in turn is inspired by the giant robots found in popular anime shows such as Gundam and Code Geass.
