Bahia Shehab

Bahia Shehab is associate professor of practice of design and founder of the graphic design program at The American University in Cairo where she has developed a full design curriculum mainly focused on visual culture of the Arab world. She obtained a PhD in 2017 from Leiden University, The Netherlands, and a Masters in Arts degree in 2009 from American University in Cairo, Egypt. Designer of Mothalath, which won an award at ProtoType in 2016.
