Shani Avni Israeli researcher, typographer and graphic designer who works in Tel Aviv, who graduated from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Ramat Gan, in 2006. At the University of Reading (UK) in 2016, she wrote a Masters thesis on Ismar David and his famous Hebrew typeface, David (1954). In it, she presents David's design process and ground-breaking results, and tells the story of this lost design and offers reasons for its disappearance. Speaker at ATypI 2017 Montreal and at ATypI 2018 in Antwerp.
