Artist and author Thi Bui was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States as a child. She studied art and legal studies and became a public school teacher. Bui lives in Berkeley, California. The Best We Could Do (2018) was created by Thi Bui who used the font in her graphic novel by the same name. It was published by Chank. |
