Designer of the Japanese font families Sawarabi (2016: Gothic and Mincho) and Togoshi (2007-2008: Togoshi Gothic, Togoshi Mincho, Togoshi Mono and Togoshi Mona Gothic).

They write: Sawarabi Mincho is carefully designed for high legibility. It works well in small text sizes. It already has many hiragana, katakana, ruled lines, and so on, but it does not yet have enough kanji glyphs. Google Font links: Sawarabi Gothic, Sawarabi Mincho.
